I’d have to agree. I met my wife on OKCupid in 2016 and almost immediately after that it changed several key features and became complete garbage.

Are YouTube shorts still 1 minute maximum? Until that changes, I don’t think they’ll be a viable replacement since content longer than a minute seems to be the sweet spot for a sizeable amount of Tiktok’s user base. Especially when it comes to informative or political content.
I smoke weed and watch TV. I also take Zoloft every day and it works pretty well at minimizing my intrusive thoughts too (which mostly happen at night) so it’s like multi-pronged for me.
Idk, if you’ve been going through this for a while and nothing in this thread works, you could look into antidepressants; you don’t have to be on them forever. A lot of the common ones are somewhat affordable without insurance.
Why not try running your own local instance of Nitter? No Nazis that way. I would if I used Twitter more.
You could also go with no DE and check out Fluxbox, i3, or sway. There’s something about Fluxbox that’s still charming all these years later.
What a distressing miscommunication.
FWIW, these are effective only when both are used on the same circuit. If you live in an older home, the chances of this being the case are higher.
My entire apartment, except for the washroom, is on the same circuit. It also means I can’t run an air conditioner without tripping the breaker. :|
I use Cockpit to manage my system and containers and Dashy as a browser dashboard. It’s similar to Heimdall but more minimal.
I also run Otterwiki and I’m planning on documenting my setup, but I haven’t got around to it yet.
That sounds like a fucking nightmare. I had to troubleshoot poorly-written-yet-somehow-functional GOTOs a lot when I was a BAS technician and that’s annoying enough.
What’s a ratio limit? /s
I’m currently seeding all of the Evil Bong movies, and I resurrected one of the torrents from the grave by finding a DDL of the release - feels good man.
Yes, I’ve heard some people say that they trust DOs more because they’re more deliberately trained to look at a larger picture of a person’s health. I don’t have my own opinion since I’ve never met with a DO.
Osteopaths (who have a Doctorate of Osteopathy and are often referred to as DOs) go to medical school and receive training that’s almost exactly the same as an MD.
Then you can’t “hide” your server IP without a VPS/VPN set up. Maybe I’m not understanding what you’re asking? Your public IP is visible to any machine you connect to and that includes Cloudflare’s servers.
Are you worried about copyright or something? This isn’t legal advice, but I doubt they give a shit unless you’re hosting content illegally for a large number of people. Obviously, only take the risk if you are comfortable with the potential consequences where you live.
I’m not really knowledgeable about it, but there is an article from Tailscale that explains how they use SSH (basically it creates a separate SSH server specifically for Tailnet traffic). From what I understand, this feature is relatively new.
You may also want to look into Tailnet lock.
You could do a mix of options 1 and 2 and try LMDE (Linux Mint: Debian Edition), I’ve heard good things.
You could try Tailscale? It creates a secure tunnel to your server so you don’t have to connect it to the internet. Not sure if that checks all your boxes though.
I think of someone describing weird movies like Evil Bong or Pink Flamingos. Not much out there can get less serious.
A short text the day after Father’s Day. Then you did send something, it just wasn’t timely or appreciative.
That said, I generally send my shitty dad a text on the actual day. It usually just says, “Happy Father’s Day, have a good one.” Last year I forgot to send one and then, when I remembered, chose not to.
TL;DR: do as much or as little as you want.
Earl Grey Pie, it’s really easy if you use frozen pie crusts.
