As a result LWV backed out of presidential debates but they still sponsor other debates.

1988 to 2020 presidential debates were run by the “commission on presidential debates” basically a nonprofit co-founded and run by both the DNC and RNC. This year both campaigns opted out of the CPD debates and are only doing 2 at all, one sponsored by CNN and the other by ABC. Last year debates were a shitshow so it’s not exactly surprising.
