  • Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kale, Cabbage, and Brussels sprouts all evolved from the same plant species: The Wild Mustard Plant. Farmers in different areas just chose to selectively breed different portions of the same plant. Broccoli was bred from choosing large buds and large stems. Cauliflower was just the flower bud. Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, and kale were all leaves from different portions of the plant.

So albino broccoli is really a pretty close description.

  • I rewatched it a few years ago. Didn’t much care for it. But remember when it first came out (I was around 20 at the time) and liked it.

On a side note; I totally owned the Huffy Sledgehammer bike just like the one in the movie. I had gotten it when I was around 13 years old. I got it out of grandma and grandpa’s garage and sold it on Craigslist for $100, when it should have been worth like $25.

Also, yes. I did take it on some pretty sweet jumps.

If it were a game that didn’t use a pay to play/continue/win model, I’d agree that she was the best at it. Or at least played it the most. It’s hard to say she’s the best when you have to spend money to do it and you aren’t playing against anyone.

  • Yep. A size of vehicle wise comparison would be that a tesla model s sedan weighs around 4,600 pounds. A toyota Corolla weighs around 1,600 pounds less at around 3,000 pounds.

Even the newest and most powerful mass produced American made car ever, the “C8 Corvette Z06” with its big V8 gas engine with 670 horsepower weighs in at around 3,650 pounds.

  • Yes, but no one’s even glancing at it for use in vehicles. The one that’s finally getting into production is 70wh/Kg. Not nearly energy dense enough yet for ev’s. Lithium batteries are closer to 300wh/Kg. In other words, they take up 1/4th the space and weight. EV’s are already a thousand pounds heavier than non ev’s and that’s already causing extra tire pollution issues and having to overbuild suspension parts and bearings. Making them another 3,000 pounds heavier than that is just out of the question. Let alone making the space to fit the battery.

Sodium is going to change the world with its power storage capabilities connected to solar. Anyone on like 75% of the planet could 100% live off the electric grid problem free with enough solar panels and a big sodium storage battery.

And I hate every one of you for jacking used car prices way the hell up for everyone so you can play half legal car dealer, while also making it hard as hell to even find a used car from a real owner of a vehicle instead of guys like you who owned it for a week and adding $2k to the price.

Last one I tried buying a guy listed it on a Sunday night. Like 7pm. I arranged to meet him Monday morning. But guess what? Guy showed up 7:45 pm with cash and bought it. Then re-listed it out of my price range.

  • It’s my main gaming device. I love the thing, and if you take the time to really understand and use the massive amount of control and gyro options it’s crazy how good the controls can be for so many different games. Way better than any console, and often nicer than keyboard/mouse. The borderlands games with gyro aiming is the best way to play, hands down. I’ve also heard high praise on some rts strategy builder games with gyro mouse functions. A genre I didn’t think would work well at all without a keyboard and mouse.
